BAHNS is an Icelandic slow fashion label founded in 2015.

We believe in comfort, durability, and timeless design. Our collection is like a family — made up of a few, but essential, pieces. We add nothing unless it truly belongs.

At the heart of our clothing lies one main pattern, inspired by the cardinal buoys — maritime signals that guide sailors safely to shore. Each buoy flashes its own rhythm: north shines constantly, while south glows in three short bursts followed by one long.

These signals are the foundation of our ideology. They remind us of guidance, safety, and finding our way home. To us, they symbolize landing in the right haven, quietly finding direction, or simply discovering that one perfect garment — the one that feels like home every time you wear it.

We steer clear of traditional fashion industry ideologies. The rules don’t have to apply to all of us.
